Hey guys! Your host, Andrea Maxim here. And this is going to be kind of a quick episode but it kicks you in the butt episode. I always try to be a part of two big mentorship groups every single year. I find that every time I’m with a mentorship group whether it’s inside of a course or some sort of like a membership like the next-level type of program. The reason why business grows the most because I can always find that source of people that are where I want to be, ask them questions, and keeps me moving further. The number one concern I know all of you have and this has a lot to do with mindset again is actually showing out for your business whether that is sending out an email every single week as you should be, not once a month, not when you remember or going live once a week like “I think everybody I’ve ever spoken to once to do more lives” that’s what they always say that they commit to. And then the fear kicks in of, what’s it going to look like? What I’m going to say? Right now we are putting together an office program almost like an online curriculum for all of our patients and we’re also going to use it as a lead generating stepping stone to our practice and I’m like full-on excited about supporting that and yet I’m working on an evergreen webinar to offer you guys amazing information and I’m hesitating to get it done! So when something happens easily, typically it means you’re in entire alignment with that but when something is a struggle when you know you want to do something when you know you want to show up for your audience and you just can’t seem to muster the courage to do it or you allow other things to happen to take your time away is exactly the bitch slap I got today is its just entirely the ego that is stopping you from doing what you need to do to serve your audience. If it’s writing that blog post and you are afraid to hit publish, that is your ego. If you are afraid to go live and you know your audience could benefit from seeing you live and answering questions live or even if you’re just putting out really great information and content and encouraging them to book in with you and you don’t? That is your ego stepping in. If you are afraid of letting go of the day stuff that is using up all of your time, for instance, hiring reception or hiring a virtual assistant for three to six dollars an hour to post all of your social media stuff or hiring a graphic artist to make a whole bunch of images because you feel that no one is going to be able to do it better than you? That is your ego, my friends. And so on this call that I had just today, while I told her, of course I know what she’s going to say, you all know what I’m talking about here. This is not foreign information but I really love how she practiced in, we all need this kind of like wake up call every once in a while so this might be a podcast episode that you put into your favorites so when you feel that you are not getting things done you can hear my words again. Do you want to be an egomaniac and make it all about you? Or do you want to drop all of that and serve your audience so that it would grow your business? So what she said that I love is, she believes that everybody is on a ripple. So that dropping the water and the number of practitioners there are is vast when you look at in ocean but small when you are looking at a location or just in yourself. So, you are that ripple and you put the drop in the water and your first ripple is your patients or we can even say that your first ripple is the people that see you in social media or get your email. The second ripple is the patients you actually book an appointment with. The third ripple is how they start to show up to their friends and family and how they start to engage with them differently and feed them different foods and nourish them in different ways and then those kids or those other people go on to grow up with better values around health. And so now, the whole reason why you are a practitioner which is to make a difference with regards the people’s health and make an impact as many people as you can what I like to say is we serve practitioners that want to make a million-dollar impact by building a six-figure practice and still be able to shut the laptop down and be present with their family. Not million dollar impact cannot start without a single drop of water to create the ripple because it’s the ripple that creates the movement it’s the ripple that starts to exponentially grow your magic. That you are sequestering from your audience and you need to stop doing that. It is all ego that is stopping you from doing it. And we can call it fear because it definitely that but it’s the ego of, what if somebody doesn’t like me? What if somebody comments negatively? What if I offend someone? What if, you know… What if? What if? What if? Prove to me that that’s actually going to happen because until you actually have valid proof, that is the legit outcome of you sending out an email worst case scenario someone unsubscribes, worst-case scenario someone on your video comment that you being the educated individual that you are can easily debunk whatever that comment is simply just delete it entirely. The worst-case scenario is you put a program out there and completely bombs you but you learn a lot, you make it better, and then it becomes a massive source of passive income for you. So tell me the true facts before you start playing around what the stories that you’re telling yourself that just stopping you from actually taking action. Be that drop in the ripple and don’t let your ego get in your way so whatever it is that you are hemming and hanging on or dreaming about or thinking someday, someday, someday… I wake every day thinking there will be no tomorrow whatever I get done today, I will. If there something that you know is going to help your audience and help you serve and you are not putting it out there, then you are not living your true identity as a healer, as a practitioner, as someone who wants to make an impact to people. So while you sit on that and reflect on that and as you said Kim in the Facebook groups, she said “Put it out there dirty and clean it up later. Get is out there as much as you can” then you will be actually in momentum then you will start showing up as that practitioner that you want to then you will start doing things and seeing the growth happen in your business. For instance, to this day, I have never listened to a podcast episode that I have put out since recording it for the first time. I have never read the book that I wrote from start to finish other than when I was editing every chapter on its own. And I’ve never rewatched the video that I’ve ever recorded ever and there are hundreds of them on the internet. I just put it out there and just let it ride. I don’t care about the comments, I don’t care about the likes, anything. I just see what happens but at least I’m showing up and at least I’m serving and that’s all that I want for you. And of course, if you are still struggling if you just need to know what the steps are because more often or not we get overwhelmed because we don’t know what the clear steps are and we just get completely bombarded by our thought of what all the actions and pieces are that we need to be taking.

But more than anything I just want you to move forward and have momentum and get shit done in your business. That’s what I always wanted. And it’s amazing what’s starts to evolve when you start living without ego you just let things go, show up authentically even if you look like garbage don’t worry about the filter or add the filter in if that’s what makes you feel comfortable and just do it just show up to your audience and serve them.
