In this episode of The Profitable Practice Podcast, I share the key business metrics that a clinic owner should be tracking in order to make informed and growth oriented decisions in their business. These are the metrics I use in my own clinics and I teach my clinic owner coaching clients to leverage.

The benefit of having a working metrics dashboard is that you will always have your finger on the pulse of how your business is operating and whether it is winning or losing. It informs your decision making, so you can decide what to do more of, and what to cut.
As an active practitioner, most of the metrics for your personal practice revolve around your patient roster and visit revenues. As a clinic owner, you have a lot more to worry about if you are going to ensure a profitable operation with staying power for all involved.

Make sure that the people you bring into your practice are aware of that as well, because sometimes, if they KNEW how much it actually cost to run your business they are less likely to feel you are taking too much from them and MORE likely to work harder to reach their patient visit goals.
